  1. Neil Walker Says:

Apple really did change the game when it comes to marketing products. The concept of taking a range of digital products and creating an entirely new concept of “social currency” around them has taken Apple from a niche desktop computer company to the dominant force in personal electronics worldwide. The question is whether Apple can maintain momentum now that Jobs is no longer driving it forwards?

    • Dan Purvis Says:

Great points, Neil, thanks! And that really is the big question – their marketing was fantastic, but will their products were innovative and game-changing…I believe they will need more than great marketing very soon; they need to go back to their roots of launching innovative iPhones as the perception is that they have been left behind by Samsung in particularly so their innovation is arguably only seen as playing catch-up. What do you think – is that fair?

  2. Now I see how Apple dominated the market all throughout the years. Although some of their products are very typical and common and ofcourse redundant but still, they still manage to market them very well. Anyway, thanks for sharing this!
